Dogs will always prefer to be with their family and although we feel the same, this is not always possible. When your time away from them requires a check-in for a potty break, some play and love, we can make an in-home visit and give that relief for both them and you!

Our small pet sitting service ensures rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, fish, reptiles, and other pocket pets stay comfortable in their own home. We follow their daily routines and offer gentle attention to keep your pets stress-free while giving you complete peace of mind.

Home Insurance Check-Ins

In Saskatchewan, most home insurance policies require you to have a trusted person check your home every 48 to 72 hours when you are away to maintain coverage. These checks are critical for identifying issues like water leaks, heating failures, or break-ins, and failure to comply can lead to denied claims.
Always review your specific policy, as timeframes can vary by insurer.

Check to ensure the heat is on, there is no water damage, and all doors and windows are secure
Ensure any online deliveries, flyers and mail are picked up and moved inside
Plant watering (Inside / outside)
Provide a written report upon each home check. Many home insurance policies require proof of home check activity to approve claims
Home Insurance check-ins scheduled for over a one-month period or longer are value priced at $20.00/visit.
If FurHaven is also providing in-home care for your pet(s) during your time away, home insurance check-In service with reporting, is value priced at $5.00/visit.
